The name of this desert comes from the layer of chalk and limestone which partially covers the landscape. The white desert is a unique place, with its special formations that are unique.
You find fossils almost everywhere, since it was the ground of the sea once. Also the Crystal mountain is spectacular.
The White desert is part of the Unesco World Heritage
